Autumn Mckay
Autumn's vision for RFP is that it becomes a beacon to seekers of YAH's truth across the country--if not the world. Her prayer is that the Most High is glorified in every conversation, that believers are encouraged no matter where they are in their faith walk, and that the ministry of this podcast becomes bigger than the crew involved.
Autumn was born and raised in Detroit, MI where her parents home schooled her and her four siblings from Kindergarten to 12th grade. As a Christian, she never knew a life without church and from the age of 14, she worked to feed her hunger for knowing and understanding Scripture. She was introduced to Torah as a young adult in 2017, YAH began to change her life. Autumn enjoys attending Sabbath fellowship, baking, watching TED Talks, taking road trips and learning Hebrew and American Sign Language. |
Yoel Ben Israel
Yoel's vision for RFP is a podcast that encourages Biblical literacy, a passion for exegesis, sparkes fruitful conversations about the Scriptures among young and seasoned Believers, and to be a catalyst for spreading the Good News of Yahweh's Kingdom!
So this is the part where I'm supposed to say stuff about myself? Here goes nothing. I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. As a child, I've always had an inquisitive mind, so I'm ever the inquirer. Born in Southfield, MI, raised in Detroit, I grew up in the Kingdom Hall, and was groomed to revere Scripture during my childhood/adolescent years. Encountering an identity/cultural crisis in my early twenties while attending community college, I ventured to ascertain answers in--you guessed it--the Bible. After Yahweh healed my crisis, with the revelation of my Israelite identity, I was (and still am) euphoric. Yahweh kindled within me a perpetual love for everything He loves: His Son, Yahshua, Torah, and His Kingdom. What do I like to do? So glad you asked! Alongside Scriptural exegesis, I enjoy reading, musicals, deep conversations, writing Hebrew, overthinking, playing ukulele, eating challah bread, and watching clean movies. Yoel is also the founder of the Leb Tahor Collection (Livetorah.myshopify.com) and a tiny blog entitled Leb Tahor (Lebtahor.wordpress.com). Yoel is happy to be a part of this august team of podcasters. Yoel will now stop talking in the third person. |
Melissa Foley
Melissa's vision is that hopefully this platform would help people walk out and apply Scripture to their lives. Also, make people question the things they've been taught and to search the Scriptures themselves.
Melissa is 29 years old. She's been a believer in and disciple of Yahushua since 2012. She enjoys health and fitness.! Side Note: Melissa will be creating a fitness program catered to praising the Most High at all times - spiritual and physical strength combined! |
Derak CArrington II
Derak wants people young and old to ask themselves, "Have I been duped? Is walking out a righteous lifestyle feasible? Is it reasonable?", and have a resounding, gut-wrenching "yes" to every single question. He wants people to see the joy and freedom that comes with righteousness. He wants people to question every idea they have ever put faith in with or without research and discover if it's true - all in order to free themselves and embrace life through love.
Derak grew up in Detroit, MI. He grew up and was convinced by life that life obeying the Father was better than not obeying. He grew up mediating on the two greatest commandments (Matthew 22:37-40), but gravitated to "loving your neighbor" more, and meditating on the Messiah's words changed his life. At the age of 23, he went on a missionary trip that proved disastrous and motivated him to read the Word for himself and no longer rely on others. From this decision, he has been learning and sitting in the refining fire continually learning how to obey. |
William Wang
William’s heart and vision for this podcast is that it will provide a platform for the truth to be heard and spread throughout the country and possibly the ends of the world, as well as reach those
who are passionate for the God of Israel to share their testimonies and insights on Scripture, so as to inspire others to seek out the truth for themselves and build a good relationship with the God of the Israel with a proper understanding and knowledge about who He is. William was born and raised in China. In 2010, he came to the United States to pursue his Masters degree of Engineering. Little did he know that his life in the United States would be turned completely around from what he intended it to be. With a background in Buddhism, William was first invited to a couple of churches and Bible studies once he started his American life. In the first two years of experiencing churches and Bible studies, he was convicted by the truth from the Bible and decided to get baptized in the Chinese church he was going to in 2012. From that point on, due to William’s hunger and passion to seek out more truth, he started his own daily Bible study in his spare time. As he continued to study the Bible over the years, the God of Israel just opened his eyes to see more and more in the Bible, which excites and inspires him joyfully to share the truth with others. By God’s grace, he was able to find a job in the United States as an engineer, but his life passion is to keep studying the Bible as a Child of God and follow the footsteps of the Messiah to bring others closer to knowing the Creator. He firmly believes that there is only one God in the universe, one Savior of the human race, Yeshua/Jesus, and one Kingdom of God, Israel. |
